The Emirates Photography Competition, organized by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH), under the patronage of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), is pleased to announce members of the Judging Committee of the Fifth Session of the Competition, 2010. The committee will be composed of five experts in photography, selected from UAE and other parts of the world.
Bryan Peterson – the US
Bryan Peterson has been a successful commercial photographer for over 30 years. His list of clients includes American Express, Kodak, UPS, Philips, and Citibank. He had his work featured in the Communication Arts Photography Annual seven times, Print Magazine four times, and being awarded the prestigious New York Art Directors Gold Award. Bryan is a contributing editor at Popular Photography Magazine, and teaching photography for more than 20 years. Peterson is widely known to be the founder of PPS (the Perfect Picture School of Photography or P dot com) which is known to be the No.1 educational portal of photography worldwide. In addition, he is the author of such bestselling books as: Understanding Exposure, Understanding Digital Photography, Learning to See Creatively, Beyond Portraits, Understanding Shutter Speed, Understanding Close-up Photography, and Bryan Peterson's Understanding Photography Field Guide.
